vIAjes es una aplicación para organizar viajes. Esta política explica qué datos se guardan, dónde y con quién se comparten. En resumen: tus datos de viaje son tuyos, no se venden, no hay publicidad y no hay rastreo.

Si inicias sesión con Google, recibimos de tu cuenta tu nombre, tu correo electrónico y tu foto de perfil. Se usan solo para identificarte dentro de la app y sincronizar tus viajes entre dispositivos. La autenticación la maneja Firebase Authentication (Google LLC); vIAjes nunca ve ni almacena tu contraseña.
Si inicias sesión con Apple, recibimos tu identificador de Apple y, si lo
autorizas, tu nombre y tu correo. Apple entrega el nombre y el correo
solo la primera vez que autorizas la app. Si eliges
Ocultar mi correo, recibimos una dirección de reenvío de
privaterelay.appleid.com y nunca tu correo real. Al eliminar tu
cuenta desde la app, se revoca además el acceso concedido a Apple.
vIAjes requiere una cuenta: es lo que permite que tus viajes se guarden y se sincronicen entre tus dispositivos.
Lo que tú creas dentro de la app: viajes, ciudades, fechas, actividades del itinerario, vuelos, gastos, presupuestos y listas de equipaje. Si tienes sesión iniciada, se guardan en Firebase Firestore (Google LLC) en un espacio privado asociado a tu cuenta, protegido por reglas que impiden que otra persona acceda a ellos.
Tus preferencias (nombre, ciudad de origen, moneda, idioma, tema, color) se guardan únicamente en el almacenamiento local de tu dispositivo.
Si configuras tu propia clave de inteligencia artificial, esa clave también se guarda solo en tu dispositivo y nunca se envía a nuestros servidores: viaja directo desde tu teléfono al proveedor que elegiste. Al cerrar sesión, todo esto se borra del dispositivo.
La app ofrece una cantidad limitada de consultas de inteligencia artificial sin que tengas que configurar nada. Cuando usas esas consultas, el texto de tu pregunta y el contexto necesario de tu viaje (por ejemplo la ciudad, las fechas o las actividades) se envían a un servidor intermedio que operamos en Cloudflare Workers y, desde ahí, al proveedor de IA que corresponda.
Esa consulta viaja en dos tramos y no llevan lo mismo. Del teléfono a nuestro servidor va acompañada de un identificador de tu cuenta, que es lo que permite llevar la cuenta de tu cupo gratuito. De nuestro servidor al proveedor de IA no se envía nada que te identifique: el proveedor recibe solo el texto, sin tu nombre, sin tu correo y sin tu identificador de cuenta.
Ten presente, eso sí, que si tú pegas un texto que contiene datos personales —por ejemplo el correo de confirmación de un vuelo, que suele traer el nombre del pasajero y el código de reserva— ese texto se envía tal cual, porque es justamente lo que la función necesita leer.
Nuestro servidor no guarda el contenido de tus consultas ni de las respuestas; solo registra un identificador de cuenta, qué función usaste y cuántas consultas llevas, para poder llevar la cuenta de tu cupo gratuito.
Si prefieres no usar ese servidor, configura tu propia clave en el perfil: en ese caso tus consultas van directo desde tu teléfono al proveedor y nuestro servidor no interviene en absoluto.
Ten presente que las capas gratuitas de algunos proveedores de IA permiten que la empresa use el contenido enviado para mejorar sus modelos. Por eso el chat libre —donde puedes escribir cualquier cosa— se dirige a un proveedor cuyos términos prohíben expresamente usar las entradas para entrenar.
Si usas el botón Reportar respuesta del chat, se guarda en tu espacio privado de Firestore el texto de esa respuesta, la pregunta que la originó, el motivo que elegiste y tu comentario, para poder revisar el caso y corregir el comportamiento del copiloto. Es la única situación en la que se almacena contenido del chat, se te avisa antes de enviarlo, y esos reportes se eliminan junto con tu cuenta.
Si usas el Modo Explorador, la app pide tu ubicación para sugerirte lugares cercanos. Antes de salir del teléfono se redondea a algo más de un kilómetro: nunca sale tu posición exacta.
Esa ubicación aproximada se envía al proveedor de IA junto con la consulta, porque es él quien sugiere los lugares. También se usa para consultar el clima y los mapas. La ubicación no se almacena en ninguna parte: se usa en el momento y se descarta.
Puedes negar el permiso: la app usa entonces el centro de la ciudad de tu destino.
Para funcionar, la app consulta estos servicios. En cada caso se envía solo lo mínimo necesario:
Estos servicios reciben datos de viaje (ciudades, lugares, coordenadas), nunca tu identidad ni tu correo.
Los recordatorios de vuelos y actividades se generan y programan en tu propio teléfono. No hay un servidor enviándote notificaciones ni registrando cuándo las recibes.
Tus datos de viaje se conservan mientras tengas la cuenta activa. Puedes borrar cualquier viaje desde la app en cualquier momento; al hacerlo se elimina también su itinerario, gastos y vuelos.
Los contadores de la IA incluida (identificador de cuenta, función usada y número de consultas del día) se conservan hasta 90 días y luego se eliminan. Nunca incluyen el contenido de tus consultas.
Desde la app, en cualquier momento: entra a Perfil, baja hasta el final y toca Eliminar mi cuenta. Se borran de inmediato y para siempre tus viajes, itinerarios, vuelos, gastos y listas de equipaje, tu cuenta, y todo lo que estaba guardado en el teléfono (incluida tu clave de IA si configuraste una). No queda copia ni hay forma de recuperarlo.
Lo único que sobrevive son los contadores de uso de la IA incluida —un identificador de cuenta, qué función usaste y cuántas consultas llevabas ese día—, que se eliminan como máximo a los 90 días, según lo descrito en la sección 5. Nunca incluyen el contenido de tus consultas.
Si ya no tienes la app instalada, escribe a iamwilldev@gmail.com desde el correo con el que iniciaste sesión y la eliminación se realiza dentro de los 30 días.
Al cerrar sesión sin eliminar la cuenta, los datos del dispositivo se borran igual, pero tus viajes se conservan en la nube para cuando vuelvas a entrar.
No hace falta eliminar la cuenta para deshacerte de datos concretos:
Si prefieres que lo hagamos nosotros, escribe a iamwilldev@gmail.com desde el correo con el que iniciaste sesión, indicando qué datos quieres eliminar. Se resuelve dentro de los 30 días.
Puedes solicitar acceso, corrección o eliminación de tus datos escribiendo al correo de contacto. Si te encuentras en Chile, la Ley 19.628 sobre protección de la vida privada te ampara; si estás en la Unión Europea, el RGPD.
vIAjes no está dirigida a menores de 13 años y no recopila datos de forma consciente de ellos.
Toda la comunicación con los servicios usa conexiones cifradas (HTTPS). Tus datos en Firestore están protegidos por reglas que restringen el acceso únicamente a tu propia cuenta.
Si esta política cambia, se actualizará esta página y la fecha del encabezado. Los cambios importantes se avisarán dentro de la aplicación.

vIAjes is a trip planning app. This policy explains what data is stored, where, and who it is shared with. In short: your travel data is yours, it is not sold, there are no ads and there is no tracking.

If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from your account. They are used only to identify you inside the app and sync your trips across devices. Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication (Google LLC); vIAjes never sees or stores your password.
If you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple identifier and, if you allow
it, your name and email. Apple provides the name and email
only the first time you authorise the app. If you choose
Hide My Email, we receive a relay address at
privaterelay.appleid.com and never your real address. Deleting your
account from the app also revokes the access granted to Apple.
vIAjes requires an account: that is what lets your trips be saved and synced across your devices.
Whatever you create in the app: trips, cities, dates, itinerary activities, flights, expenses, budgets and packing lists. If you are signed in, this is stored in Firebase Firestore (Google LLC) in a private space tied to your account, protected by rules that prevent anyone else from accessing it.
Your preferences (name, home city, currency, language, theme, color) are stored only in your device's local storage.
If you configure your own AI key, that key is also stored only on your device and is never sent to our servers: it goes straight from your phone to the provider you chose. When you sign out, all of this is erased from the device.
The app offers a limited number of AI queries without you having to set up anything. When you use them, the text of your question and the necessary context from your trip (for example the city, the dates or the activities) is sent to an intermediate server we operate on Cloudflare Workers and, from there, to the corresponding AI provider.
That query travels in two legs, and they do not carry the same thing. From your phone to our server it is accompanied by an identifier of your account, which is what makes it possible to track your free allowance. From our server to the AI provider nothing that identifies you is sent: the provider receives only the text, without your name, without your email and without your account identifier.
Do keep in mind, though, that if you paste text containing personal data — for example a flight confirmation email, which usually carries the passenger name and the booking code — that text is sent as is, because reading it is exactly what the feature is for.
Our server does not store the content of your queries or the responses; it only records an account identifier, which feature you used and how many queries you have made, so it can track your free allowance.
If you prefer not to use that server, configure your own key in your profile: your queries then go straight from your phone to the provider and our server is not involved at all.
Note that the free tiers of some AI providers allow the company to use submitted content to improve their models. That is why free-text chat — where you can write anything — is routed to a provider whose terms expressly forbid using inputs for training.
If you use the Report response button in the chat, the text of that response, the question that prompted it, the reason you picked and your comment are stored in your private Firestore space, so the case can be reviewed and the copilot's behavior corrected. This is the only situation in which chat content is stored, you are told before sending it, and those reports are deleted along with your account.
If you use Explorer Mode, the app requests your location to suggest nearby places. Before it leaves your phone it is rounded to a little over one kilometre: your exact position never leaves the device.
That approximate location is sent to the AI provider along with the query, because it is the provider that suggests the places. It is also used for weather and maps. Location is not stored anywhere: it is used at that moment and discarded.
You can deny the permission: the app then uses your destination's city center.
To work, the app queries these services. In each case only the minimum necessary is sent:
These services receive travel data (cities, places, coordinates), never your identity or your email.
Flight and activity reminders are generated and scheduled on your own phone. No server sends you notifications or records when you receive them.
Your trip data is kept while your account is active. You can delete any trip from the app at any time; doing so also deletes its itinerary, expenses and flights.
The included-AI counters (account identifier, feature used and number of queries that day) are kept for up to 90 days and then deleted. They never include the content of your queries.
From the app, at any time: go to Profile, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account. Your trips, itineraries, flights, expenses and packing lists, your account, and everything stored on the phone (including your AI key if you configured one) are deleted immediately and permanently. No copy is kept and there is no way to recover it.
The only thing that survives are the usage counters for the included AI — an account identifier, which feature you used and how many queries you had made that day — which are deleted after 90 days at most, as described in section 5. They never include the content of your queries.
If you no longer have the app installed, email iamwilldev@gmail.com from the address you signed in with and deletion is completed within 30 days.
Signing out without deleting your account also erases the data on the device, but your trips are kept in the cloud for when you sign back in.
You do not need to delete your account to get rid of specific data:
If you would rather we did it, email iamwilldev@gmail.com from the address you signed in with, stating which data you want removed. It is handled within 30 days.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by writing to the contact email. If you are in Chile, Law 19.628 on privacy protection applies; if you are in the European Union, the GDPR applies.
vIAjes is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
All communication with services uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Your data in Firestore is protected by rules restricting access to your own account only.
If this policy changes, this page and the date in the header will be updated. Significant changes will be announced inside the app.
